The thing is Plornive, is that if I understand what you are saying, there are people have no properties other than that determined by their life experiences. Do you see what I am getting at here, not just come casual sort of influence but rather that every moment of one`s life life leads you to be who you are. There is nothing else, other than maybe some genetic influences which again are more determinism. I would though veer greatly towards environmental determinism.

I think my views are closer to yours than I originally thought. I agree with this statement.

But I want to recognize individual 'choice' as defined above for practical purposes. And this kind of 'choice' exists.

Ultimately, one's decisions may be totally determined by many influences. Some decisions may have more directly to do with one's physical body or immediate community. This I would define as closer to individual choice than environmental control. It's simply semantics.

I think we are both right.
