I expected more from the ending.

In all honesty what was wrong with the ending? So it's not the typical bad guy and good guy fights, good guy kicks bad guys ass after a close call. It's not the typical movie.

this ending and the movie as a whole was the largest but of righting exrement I ever saw......

I thought it was pretty good. Some corny dialogue here and there, but that's irrelevant. And everything didn't turn out perfect in the end. Big deal, life isn't fair. People just built their hopes up too high, had a different idea of Neo's purpose, were let down, and got angry.

If Neo took out the Machine city and killed all the machines, I would have been pissed. That would have been such a shitty predictable hollywood ending. There sure are a lot of questions left, and that's annoying. But I like how the "free" humans are still forced to live in an underground city like rats. Humans still lose out in the big picture.

People didn't like Reloaded because some of the concepts, such as the Architect's speech, were way over the heads of 90% of the audience. There was still a bit of mental masturbation presented concerning choice and free will in Revolutions, and without some of those questions answered that hurts the movie. But I think everyone who goes around saying it sucks is just jumping on a bandwagon. I've seen plenty of movies that suck. Revolutions was nothing like them.

I just got back from the theatre too. I like what DZP just said. That's some quality thought. There were some cheesy parts.. too much lovey dovey stuff, and too much explaining. But other than that.. it was a pretty good concept. Hell, I didn't know it was going to end that way.

I agree with DeepZenPill.
Does anyone notice how basicly the whole story was based on the bible?
Neo presented as Jesus at the end in a crussified shape.
Just like Jesus that gave his own life to save humanity.
