Masters Olympia Winners???

Does anyone know where on the web I can find info on the 2001 Masters Olympia? Is there any sites that have info? Or does anyone know the top five results from the heavy weight divison?

I know this is off the topic of this board but I thought someone on here would know.

WHAT!!! UM I Believe Vince Taylor won and Hans Hopstaken should have come in second but due to the politics he got a BS 5th place. Robby won the over 50s.

Don should have beat Vince???? OK maybe if your Dons friend. There was so much politics involved this year it makes me sick. If you were there then reply, rumors are just rumors.... Yah Don looked good but Hans Hopstake although smaller looked WAY better he was so F'ing ripped. That's by far Hans Hopstakens best showing. Next year Orville will be in the Master O' and there's no one that can touch him, not even Vince.

21 inch arms...where you at the masters olympia??...because from where i was sitting it seemed to me that youngblood got the shaft big time...if there was any politics involved it was vince winning!!!...my god he couldnt even stand on stage for 1 minute with out having to go back and either puke or get a drink of water...and there is no way hans looked better than youngblood....his legs looked real bad and he wasnt near as ripped as youngblood....anyways thats just from where i was sitting

man ive met vince several times and he is a very nice guy and he is very symmetrical, but this year he came in very out of shape....he was soomth as hell....he didnt even look half way decent until saturday night...due to all the drugs he jacked friday night....my god him and mcvicar both could not even stay on stage it was pathetic....and when the pics come out next month you will be sorry you ever wrote this when you see how tore up from the floor up youngblood and hnatyshack where....and the only party i know that was going on was that wedding they where having in the lobby that night

i totally agree...lots of politics in bodybuilding...and it was definetly an excellent show...well worth the 34 round trip drive...even though my damn back is still killing my....and im sure vince will look totally different at the olympia this year....hell chads training him so you know he will look awesome...we talked to chad about three weeks before the olympia at a show where vince was guest posing...it kinda seemed to me that he was definetly planning on vince peaking for the olympia...we where making commits about how vince looked soft and chad said he didnt have to be much harder to win the masters!!!....because he is vince talyor....LOL...damn poltics

bro I know don youngblood personally, when I use to live in fayetteville, my buddy and I use to go to fort smith and see him and chris obana, that was back in 95, youngblood and chris would tell me, man you are huge for 19, made me feel good........but hell havent been in arkansas since 97.........last time I saw don we went and hung out with him and chris while they spotted guys in national powerlifting meet at golds.........hey do you know rhett garner, he owns the golds gyms in arkansas.........anyway, thats cool...........look forward to your response!!

yeah man i know don real good...he works out at are gym he has helped several of my friends get ready for shows....hes a real good guy....he had a party in his room after the olympia we all went up there and chilled....it was cool...anyways where are you located now???...and the way i met chad was through don and roger bullington...he helped with rogers diet this year to...dont know chad personally just talked to him at some shows

This shit is crazy!!! I didnt know there were so many here from Arkansas. I cant believe I heard the name Chris Obana on here. Anyway Don looked great at a show I competed in ,in June. No doubt he should have won the Masters.

By the way, who all went to the show in Little Rock???

yeah the last time I saw chris o'bana was in 96 I believe, he was in the offseason of his training weighing about 255, the dude is superstrong, I saw him bench press 575lbs for 2 reps!!!!!

Just had to put my opinion in here. I made the million hour drive w/ BuffArkie. Having seen Don, Vince, Hans, and many of the others up close, I have to say Don got the root thrown to him. I don't know what criteria the judges were looking at to make Vince the winner (oh wait, yes I do...his name!) but they need some glasses. Everything Buff said about Vince walking offstage, bending over, throwing up, cramping is all true. That and the fact I don't think he had any posing oil on... all the sweat running off of him washed it off. However, Don wasn't the only one that got the shaft. Several of the women got hosed as well.

He was at the Arkansas Classic June 2nd. I won the novice middlweight and 2nd overall. Yes, in the open division particularly the middleweight was shafted BIG time. The guy that won should have got 3rd at best. He had bad bitch tits!! There was a guy from Fort Smith that should have taken that class.

LOL...you hit the nail on the head my man...that was exactly who i was talking about got the shaft...it was a guy we know real well..he went to virgina with us to watch the olympia his name is lance clouse...god the gave him the shaft...i didnt get a chance to go but he showed me some video...man he was freaky!!!...thats pretty impressive that you won the middleweight at the arkansas there is usually some good competition there..im planning on doing my first show this year as a novice light weight...was going to do the show in fayettville but i heard the couple that puts it on split up and both moved out of state....now im not for sure what i should do...any ideas???

If I were you, I would do the Arkansas. Its soooo hard to win your first show no matter how you look. You learn alot in your first show. Im not saying you wont do good though. Im sure Lance will help you out. He obviously knows his shit. You can do alot from now until then. What cycles do you have planned??

I also know billy straka, he won the 96 or 97 show, and greg udie, he got fucked one year, he looked awesome but got fucked just like you guys were talking about........but I saw the pics of the masters O, and vince is just a seasoned pro, thats why he beat don, if you look, vinces posing and overall physique gave him the edge, he is a bit thicker than don also. What about that one guy who is real old, he finally won the arkansas in 96 I forget his name..........james something I think.........man I forget, the first show I ever went to was the arkansas, and now I am in LA around pros everyday!
