When I finish my training/fighting sessions, my muscles shrink up and look flat.
I sweat alot so alot of the depletion is water...

Do you guys get the same thing and what do you guys take/eat after training to "pump" up the muscles..I have been drinking protein shakes after the training but it does little to pump up the muscles.

Would do you guys think/suggest is the best thing to take after?

Thanks in advance to the your posts/input

Treat it like a resistence training session. Get in some high quality protein and carbs immediately following the sessions. Something like a a whey Isolate shake with dextrose to replenish fatigued muscles and ATP stores. Glutamine peptides might also be beneficial for recovery/muscle fullness.

it's high intensity/high impact training. if you're making contact. if it's tae bo shit, drink some gatorade...

immediately after i have tons of water, a bananna and a protein shake. 1 hr later i have a meal, usually chicken w/ some vegi's and maybe alittle pasta, some nuts too. when i'm done i'm huuuuuungry!

An hour before any work out... weights, boxing etc I take 8 Muscle Synergy from Beverly International.
Post work out I always us 3 scoops of Mass Maker, 2 scoops of Ultra Size, dextrose and creatine.

Thanks for you replies guys...I sometimes don't have food prepared (lazy cook) and rely on Protein shakes for meal replacement...

What about carbs, which ones do you guys like?

Water, Carbs and electrolytes. Some protein too.
