ive noticed alot of Marines on Elite...whats everyones thoughts on the Corps going the Spec Ops community?

force recon is not an "accepted" spec ops unit. one of the requirements for a spec ops unit is u have to allow other branches to participate. the Marines do not allow that therefore they technically dont have a spec ops. but they just authorized a Marine Corps spec ops unit...totally seperate from Recon

I agree wholeheartedly with it. All the branches of the service train for different aspects of warfare, excelling in areas and lacking in others. The Marines might bring a different fresh approach. They'll probably have to bring Corpsman from the Seal Teams tho, because not many standard Corpsman are going to make it in a SpecOps role.

I think it's a good idea, especially since they are essentially chopped to SOCOM

Marines dont have any medical personel....we get that from the navy....a corps man is a medic...like emt 1st responder type deal. some are attached to Marine units other stay on the navy side and work in hospitals
