I'm not sure your statement is completely untrue. She may have been a size 14. But what you have to realize is that the sizing pattern has changed. Theres no way Marilyn would be a size 14 in today's clothes. You can see her ribs in that pic, thats not a sign of being huge and overweight. She was fine, especially for her time period.
