Male Love Handles

hey bros,
any advice on some good exercises to help with little love handles? I am just looking for strictly exercises. Please don't say fat burners....diet etc. Just would like to know some exercises for that region. i find that area hard to maintain when you are bulking
peace

Unfortunately, the answer is diet. If you choose to rule that out, then your love handles aren't going anywhere. I don't care what excercises you do or how often.

Why yes there is. It all depends on what you eat while you "bulk".

Many guys, especially younger ones, use "bulking" as an excuse to eat all the crap they want to. And while their strength and size increase, many wonder why they are also getting fat.

Generally speaking, a bulking diet is not much different from a cutting diet. You should always eat clean, you just eat more when you're bulking.

I am not to young but in my 20's. I don't eat a bunch of crap like some people lol. Actually when i bulk I don't blow up that much. My upper body stays pretty toned and hard but yes there is water. the only area that i notice any fat is around my love handle area. The front of my stomach is fine. Just the love handle region i have noticed a bit more lately. Just tryin to figure out some exercises to keep that under control. :)

That area is the first and last place your body will hold extra water and fat. It's the toughest area tighten up, especially if you're genitcally inclined to hold more fat there than others.

Do they go away when you cut?

I'd suggest maybe upping the cardio somewhat and seeing how that works. But as far as doing side leg-ups, or side crunches, that kind of thing, that's really not going to be of much help.

Hell, if you find something that works for you, please let me know! I've had the same problem for years.

sounds good bro, thanks for your help.....but the side bends, crunches etc. should help somewhat to keep that area toned and maintained I would think :)

Doing those excercises would of course be better than not doing them. But then you've probably been doing them anyway.

Just that it's been my experience that after a certain point, they simply don't produce the kind of results that you can see in the mirror.

actually i know why i notice them more  I have been slacking on my side bends and twisting crunches. I will up the sets and reps and no more slacking on that area lol :o
