Making gains while shutdown

Hey guys,

This is my last thread about that subject. I've already made a thread about my recovery problem. I had trouble recover from a deca cycle (took me 5-6 months).

I have two bodybuilder friends who told me different things. Who is right ?

1) Post-cycle, you lose a few muscle because your test is low for a while. So, when you are shutdown for a long time (with deca by exemple) you keep losing muscles for months.

2) You lose muscle in the beginning of PCT but if you are shutdown with a low-test for months, you still can make gains ! It is just harder to make gains with low test. Women have low test and can do it !

Who is right ? It looks like I've made some gains when shutdown (I was training/eating like a beast)
 
You won't be as anabolic with low amounts of test. It's just the nature of the beast. Two steps foward on cycle, one step back in pct. Diet and training is important in pct as well as how quickly you recover.

If you're having recovery problems with deca, then stay away from the crap. It's the hardest steroid to recover from without a doubt. Try NPP next time and try to run a better pct than clomid and nolva. Use natural test boosters like hcgenerate and unleashed to help aid your recovery. I've never had recovery issues when I invested in my pct
 
there isn't a black and white answer. also you and your friends are under the impression that 'gains' mean how much the scale moves. this reeks of inexperience in bodybuilding and sounds like people who juice while working out and then come off juice and quit on the gym. see this a lot with weekend warriors.

me for example I do not run cycles to make the scale move, I run them to sharpen things up. my last cycle I posted up my pics and I LOST 2 pounds after my cycle yet I look bigger and am way stronger and people tell me I look leaner. that is how its done.

But I'm confused, if my balls shrink and my test is low after deca, does it means I'm gonna lose muscle ? Or i can still make gains with low test ?
 
First -- don;t confuse suppression with being totally shut down.

Second -- this is the principle behind UNLEASHED. If FREE testosterone is normal/high you can certainly make gains. Also, BRIDGE and GEAR helps with this in-between cycles because it replaces blood volume and anabolism.

if you take away the anabolic environment in your body then of course you will lose strength and mass. that is common sense.

and again like I said it isn't black and white. if you started out at 150 pounds at 6 feet its going to be different then someone like me who already has a strong base
