dont think like ur speaking too 30-100 people. act like ur speaking to 5-10 people you know in the audience

when you open, speak loud and firmly, not too quickly and clearly. its the first few sentences that grab the attention

i.e.
''hello ladies and gentlemen, today im going to give you a presentation on why malta was the best choice for your holiday. malta is as you may know an island of the coast of spain. it has a population of 20,000 and has a bustling nightlife, many areas of natural beauty and very few cross dressing canadians like freakshow and taps. i will now highlight some of the attractions and you can ask any questions youi may have at the end''

after that you can relax a little.

also
a prop of somesort to hold gives you something to gesture with and relaxes you. some pictures, a slide, a laser pen, a ruler......all help you sort the body language out. if u dont have these, stand tall and take a breat in so as to expand ur chest out, and try and motion with ur hands during the talk

visual aids are also good. and dont try and imagine the audience nude, u;ll only end up ogling some chicks boobies :D

Cheers Danielson, thats some good advice.

Have you done this kind of thing before then?

Focus away from the crowd, don't look at any one individual, try the back lighting booth or find a point in the audience (a chair or something) to look at. How I did all my guitar solos in concert
