Shamefully i have to admit that i still read Flex magazine on occasion. The October issue has me a little frustrated. They did their coverage of the 2004 NPC USA competition. Great show, but the article that they wrote baffled me. Mark Dugdale, the light heavy winner, also won the overall. IMO this was the right decision, and they go on to say how his physique is going to be the new standard and how that the judges are now looking for a more pleasing aesthetic look. Ok, so far i can deal with that. I'm not a superhuge guy and that works to my advantage. But several pages later they are talking about how Alex Federov is the new standard? WTF! This guy is a monster and is only 25! So which is it FLEX? Any thoughts?
