Maintenance Workout

Shak

New member
Looking for some advice...

I've been doing 5X5 since October and had some great results. On March 1, I started my cutting diet. I'm still doing 5X5, but not adding any additional weight. I need a good maintenace workout for the summer. I'm not looking to grow anymore, since I won't have the diet to promote it, but I don't want to lose what I've gained. I bored with 5X5 too...any suggestions?

Thanks

what were you dong befor 5x5
it work to go back to that for a little while
or maybe go into an endurance type of training, rep ranges in the 10-15 area, just for somthing different for a while

Before 5X5, I had a loose workout routine - usually 4X10 or 4X8. I did more exercises than I do on 5X5.

I guess I'll just go back to that and keep the weight stable.

3X8 sounds good - I hate spending a lot of time in the gym over the summer. The weather just doesn't stay that nice for that long in the midwest, so I like to enjoy it while I can...
