I was advised against using them or getting a P.O. the first time I ever asked about it on here.

I've used mail box etc to send funds but never used to receive but I would advise no public place as such but have had friends used sucessfully

I highly recommend them bro! :)

Some friends I know used to own one and they never went through anyones shit. I don't see a problem with it. Bam

I opened an account at a UPS Store that has mailboxes to ship to.

so far no problems. If it is a package they usually hold it up front until you get it. However if you get a big enough box there is 24hr pickup so no one would even know you got it.

BTW the employees can't go through your mail anyway.

I did read once that MBE is more likely to wish to press charges in drug cases, but I don't remember the details with enough confidence to say anything absolutely. I would encourage anyone thinking of using MBE to research this though.

So would I every thing from fina to sust received and no problems yet. I am diabetic and my inusilin is delivered there along with my pins regularly and there's been no problems of course the Addy I gave them as a home addrress hasn't existed for years but hey

Couple things... MBE is better than home if you have wife, kids, neighbors etc... End of story.

Couple things... They give you a suite number, so the address looks like

Mr. Bob Johnson
1432 Jerkoff Lane.
Suite 4984
Anywhere, CA 90210

No hint of MBE address = less suspicion
No hint of PO BOX = less suspicion

BUT!! You need to get a box big enough for the pack to fit in, or MBE will have to "accept" it. More human interaction.

PS. I have NEVER EVER had any problems this way.

Do you have to use your real name....???????

you need to show 2 forms of ID when getting the box... A license and a CC usually... How you get those and what you use are up to you...

What about the reg. home del w/a fake name?

If your mail man knows who lives there, he will probably leave a notice for a package addressed to another name. Unless of course you leave him (or her) a letter explaining to them that you have a "friend" staying with you. And then follow that up with a letter asking all packages to be left, and sign your "friends" name....see what I mean?

Mail Boxes Etc. aka The UPS Store noramally requires 2 types of identification before setting up a box.

example- Drivers License or State issued ID and credit card that matches name on ID.

I would go to a private own low profile personal mail box facility.

got to be sneaky...............lol.............thanks a bunch guys...

In my house if your names not on the package it better not be opened unless its a bill and you plan on paying it and if thats the case open away...what do I care she gives me my delt injections.
There's no reason to be sneaky if you have nothing to hide.

I had no problems picking up boxes there. Just picked one up yesterday(domestic) and didn't even have to show ID. They usually put a slip in your mailbox, all you do is hand them the slip they hand you the box.

Just set up the mailbox under your own name, just tell whoever that you needed an alternate mailbox(tell them shipping rates were cheaper from UPS if they ask why).

Again just remember that if something does happen you may be facing civil suit from MBE to add to your troubles.

the chances of that are almost 0...

unless you are smuggling tens of thousands of dollars worth of drugs.

show me one civil suit brought against them after being "caught"

i will show you 10,000 that didnt get caught...

simple statistics.

Not so simple.

The comparison is not: "How many civil suits arise from busts that do happen" to "How many busts don't happen at all."

For your point to be valid it would be "How many suits happen after a bust" vs. "How many suits don't happen after a bust."

The discussion is of pros and cons of MBE/PO Boxes etc... a con of MBE is that they may file a civil lawsuit against you for breach of contract. That could be hugely problematic to someone already dealing with criminal charges. It deserves consideration.

I agree it is not that simple. But who is to say that say, an owner of a condo complex can't file a civil suit against a tenant that gets a pack delivered... or an apartment complex... of course, yes it could happen... anything COULD happen... shit, I could be struck by lightning in exactly 4.5 minutes...

we're talking statistics here... :) but I DO understand your point :)

a lot of valid points on here concerning the mail box etc and which way to go. I hope that everyone knows that the postal service and the credit bureaus and the federal govt ALL know that any mbe is just that , A mail box etc or ups store , whatever. You can fool a company or an individual to think that your "address" is suite 300 instead of po box 300 but all the people that you wouldnt want to know will know, guaranteed. It is federal law that all po boxes(no matter how listed) send in all possible mailing addressses to the govt. The govt and homeland security are much more likely to do a random search of a package if it is coming from a questionable location and you have a po box, mbe, ups store address to receive it. Due to 9-11 they want to be sure about everything  Anyway, if the concern is being caught, why use a ups store and your REAL id and credit card with your REAL home address ? It will just take one more minute to find you. If you are gonna go this route, I would try to find a good fake id and another fake id (social security card etc...) and then go to the ups store and open up a big box. I would order all of my stuff under my alias name and it will match my info and be delivered. If anyone catchs on, they are looking for someone who doesnt exist, with an address that wont be found. That way you dont have to clean out the house, move, worry yourself to death wondering if you package was siezed when it is a week late.

With all that being said, the best way to keep yourself safe is to try to be careful and at least source check the best you can. You should be fine unless your source is under suspicion or a package busts in the mail. I am sure many do and have had packages sent in the mail to their homes. I guess it is up to you and I wouldnt trust putting it in someone elses name at your addy. If that package is caught and they get a warrant, they are gonna have access to your home. Anyone want that ? Cheers.

I use to own a Mail Box and had stuff sent there all the time.

I am sure that you have had great success with it but, Have you ever gone out drinking and driven home ? Maybe you didnt get caught but wouldnt it have been smarter to have taken a cab or gotten a ride to make sure you didnt get caught ? I think that is what this thread is all about. I am sure I could have a package sent to anywhere and probably get away with it but why not reduce the risks ? I bet if a package of yours did get confiscated, they would have your real name, address and vehicle info in about 2 minutes. You of course wouldnt know it yet, so you wouldnt concern yourself until they serve you with a search warrant at your home, apt whatever. I understand that you have used a ups store or mail box and hadnt had any problems but please try to be safer because one broken package, or bust of a source,or random screening( like the old lady that gets pulled out of line at the airport ) will bring more heat than you can imagine. STAY SAFE. :)

Fake Id's will always get you in trouble. Find a homeless person to open a box for you and pick up the packs yourself.

I agree, if you are using a bad id and trying to open a bank account or something. Getting into a bar can get ya too. If the id is dead clean and you are only gonna be using it to establish a mailbox , noone will ever check it , and it is a lot less trouble than getting caught with gear because you used your real name. As far as using a homeless person to open one up.... that is a pretty good idea, I guess you could give a guy 10 bucks to open it up for you and it is on. By the way, it isnt technically against the law to possess a fake id UNLESS you use it to commit a crime( open bank acct, get into bar underage, trying to get passport etc..) It is a gray area to be sure but I wouldnt think opening a ups account would qualify.

With the way security today is, they would charge you just for possessing one.

true. friend of mine passed out and was charged for having a fake ID when they went through his wallet.

Homeless guys work well, but it can get tricky trying to find a stand up one that won't run away with the $40 it takes to open a box. Offer the man about $100.

To these guys, it doesn't matter, their names don't mean much, they love selling it. They get a good amount of money for what they perceive as doning nothing. It's a win-win situation for everybody. You have him open the box and then you let it sit for a week or two and start accepting your packs. Eventually, the mailbox people will get use to your face and assume it is your box.

You can even renew your box under his name after it expires. If you are friendly enough with the staff, they won't ask you for ID when you renew since it is somewhat rude (they know you, afterall.) Also, make it seem like you are in a really hurry and always pay cash.

Like...when you get a package sent to a UPS store account, they will sign for it at the counter. Now, lets say they sign for it, its a CD, but you never pick it up...what can they do?
Thanks.

what if u live in a small town and there aren't really any homeless people here. VERY VERY tough to even see one. forget about talkin to them or making a deal like that with them. what what could one do?

Well, the ideal situation is to have your packages sent with no signature needed. If in fact they meaning the ups people sign for it and it just sits there and you dont go to claim it, I think it would be very difficult for them to pin it on you. I mean you havent taken possession of "it" and they did. It would be a bit dicey but you could always say, I didnt order this or whatever. The only recourse would be for them to send the package back to the sender, assuming the return addy is correct :qt: and that would only happen if they hadnt an idea what "it" was. hope that helps.
