Target Bodybuilding is a unique book showing not just exercises but actually shows an MRI to demonstrate what muscles are used in each exercise, and the reviews suggest it demonstrats a lot of converntional wisdom is incorrect.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0880119381/qid=1065299971/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2/102-9065827-5729761?v=glance&s=books

It's only $13 and I am tempted to place an order for it. The only downside I see is the relative lack of coverage of diverse exercises for different body parts.

Anyone familiar with this book or have a comment about this method?

Looks interesting, the only thing like you said the lack of various lifts, also some people use different muscle groups for the same lift. I tend to be a leg squatter, when I should use more glute/lower back.
