I am currently in week 4 and my squats for Day1 5x5 was supposed to be 225. Well I failed in the 3rd rep of the 4th set. Since I had to do 8 reps more, I just did 2 sets of 4 with the same weight. Would this be alright?
Also, my lower back always ache like mad when I do squats on Day3 because of the 5x5 deads on Day2. I think I may be rounding my lower back at the bottom of the squats due to lower back fatigue. Is this a common thing? Im afraid I might injure my lower back again.
