How long should you stay in the sauna?

What's the difference between the dry one and the genuine one where you put water on the stones?

and last but not least will it help may deadlift some hoooge weight? ;)

.. or any other benefit?

That's my choice.

I usually stay from 15 to 30 minutes, and winter time if there's a change I go from sauna to make few snow angels and then back in. Just to cool of.

Some will go straight to ice cold water.

I've done it once, and I will never do it again.

I know one powerlifter who spend a night in sauna before competition and he dropped 20lbs by doing so.

I guess your heart may not appreciate if you jump from the sauna to the ice cold water :worried:
But if i've the opportunity I'd try (if it goes along with vodka and hot finnish nurses)

Unfortunately my sauna is electric so I don't think throwing water would be a great idea....

YOUR sauna? you own one? must be rich as hell bro :)
or do you mean the gym one is electric?

either way...i spend about a half hour in the sauna usually 3x/week - after a long workout i like to just sit back and close my eyes n medidate to so speak while all the water gets drained out of me + i read somewhere it can stimulate metabolism at night since it slows down then or something so that might be an advantage you are looking for :verygood:
