Lump in my buttocks

Hey guys I've noticed I have a small lump in my left butt cheek, that seems to not go away. It is very unnoticeable and you can really only tell if you feel for it on my butt. But still if you feel deep in it's definitely there and definitely been there for a while (not from a recent inject). Is there anything I can do to get rid of this? Or atleast prevent this from EVER happening again. Being that I will be injecting at least once a week for into my butt for the foreseeable future, this has got me really quite worried. Please help me out bro's with experiences or advice thanks!


I am on HRT and I inject into each cheek once a week.

try the standard heating pad, warm compress, and massage and see if that seems to make it smaller over a few days.

yu should also vary the location of your shots

hmm, wouldn't something like that have dissipated by now if it were to happen (thats why I'm worried) Still going to try it out for sure.

Is my rotation schedule not good enough? Is shooting in each cheek 52 times a year, too much?

is it hard and fixed or movable? pain when you press on it?

since you didnt mention pain/redness/swelling/fever its not likely an infection, and unless you use an 18 ga pin, you didnt shoot anything in there --

Ya there is no redness, pain, irritation anything just a small hard lump and it kind of moves but not much.

I don't wanna fuck with your head but a swollen lymph node that is painless, rubbery to the touch, and doesn't go away can be a bad sign. Follow others advice & go see your Doc.

That is exactly how I would describe it, and you just scared the CRAP out of me. How do I know if it's a lymph node?

I'm not sure this is going to help at all but, it is kind of "attached" to me bone near there or at least it "feels like an extension of my bone. (not in a huge way)

just go to the doc, prescribed or not, and ask him to take a look.

we cant palpate it from here to be sure what it is. also, we dont want to palpate it.

if its a node he'll probably follow it for a bit and if no reduction do a needle biopsy I suppose but thats just a guess

Very probable it is scar tissue. Tumor in that location without other syptoms is very improbable. Do some heat followed by some deep trigger point therapy to break it up.

Two things it could be.You could of hit a bad spot,or the ba content of your stuff is high.Just went through the experience.I try to stay away from the buttocks,lot of nerves .

yes, have had scar tissue, it eventually dissipates.

TPT is basically like a deep tissue massage
