Lump after pinning test e

Into my 10th week of a 12 week cycle of test e and var.
Pinned my glute as normal little massage after,all good.
Next day,it's swelling,hot little red.i have a fever n muscle aches over night which go away,but the lump is still sore and large.
It's slowly going down but what has gone wrong?any ideas?
I inject slowly and at a slight angle.

Did you inject it deep enough IM?

I use a 1.5 inch needle and always go in 3/4 of the way in.never had a prob before but was also thinking maybe I should go all the way in.

I've done 100's of injects and sometimes for whatever reason it happens to the best of us. Just Apply heat ,using a heating pad or hot washcloth and massage the area to help break up the oil.

Usually heat = infection like isteroids said. The fever is another sign it's infected. No harm in going to a doc and getting some antibiotics, especially if it gets worse or the fever persists.

I use a 1.5 inch and go all the way in, the chance of going through the muscle is pretty slim with the glute/quads...in my experience.

Just sounds like an infection from a bad injection. Do as RADAR suggested. Sometimes shit happens!
