Lululemon on guys???

My boyfriend and I have been having a debate about lululemon menswear, is it gay? I think that it's kind of cool (barring the skin tight shirts), however I do admit that a significant percentage of the men that wear it are flaming. Why is this? It seems now that straight guys are scared to wear it, even if they do have some nice pieces. My boyfriend would never be caught dead wearing lululemon, he prefers underarmour. I love lululemon and have a serious addiction. What do all of you think of lululemon menswear?

I've been to a nearby Lululemon store with my wife; she's also addicted to it. As she was trying on stuff, I was looking at the men's section. While some of it seems to be quality stuff, I just couldn't see myself wearing any of it, mainly for this reason:

sad, but true.

Good question. Maybe something in the way it's advertised? Do lots of gay guys do yoga?

Maybe it's all in a name. You have to admit, there's two very different images that come to mind when one thinks "Under Armour" versus LuLu Lemon :rainbow:

Quite honestly, believe it or not, Freddie had never heard of a brand named Lululemon until this thread. As a fashion consultant, it was a matter of high concern to me. Went right over to Mr. George's office accross the hall, and he told me everything about it. Gotta say: not impressed, looks like GAP. Not that I know what GAP is like, it is what I understand it is like... And whilst I think GAP has cute pieces, it is very informal and no personality - everybody looks the same, much as Lululemon. The shorts on the Lulu website were cute, and I liked the tops (but again, who doesn't like a good top. Now I'm digressing...). The pants looked like they were for tracking, lounging at home (certainly not for lounging at Buddha Bar) or for working out at those places that all of you pups out there call temples and that Freddie runs from as the devil runs from the cross - GYMS! Lulu is OK in my book, just not to a restaurant. Or to Freddie's penthouse for a sit down dinner.
