Me it was a long long time ago and was less than $4.00 an hour.
I did it for 2 weeks then got bumped to $7.50/hour LOL.
(even back then the minimum wage was probably $6.00 but due to the type of work they had a loophole and paid us $3.85 :(

By the time I left that place I had my own big office, made good money wore a suit & tie and had no regrets.
 
i was paid 3.00hr doing waitress work way back when... but tips made up for it.
 
I worked for $3/hour (back in 1993) to pick up fruits. But back then I was 15yr old and no one except farmers would hire me.
 
I wanted to say $5.75 @ Toys R Us in 96 maybe? I cant understand how ANYONE can work for that amount
 
$4 cash to bail hay and shovel shit when I was 12-15 from the farmer down the road from my dad. I also worked fast food for a few months for 4.25hr. We used to get high in the freezer at night. Then I quit and went to another fast food resturant for $4.50 and quit in 3 days for a 5.40 job at a grocery store.

My first real job was $2.10 an hour - frying chicken and that was with no tips

Showing some age there. Of course I worked on my fathers farm one summer for $5 / day from sun up to sun down. I explained to him that he was only paying me like $.20 per hour and he replain " Yeah - and you are still overpaid".
 
I worked behind the desk at a golf course when I was 14 and the guy running the place paid me $3 an hour, which was below minimum wage. What he didn't know is I stole green fees daily and almost doubled my rate of pay because I knew he was ripping me off.
 
I can beat all of you. I PAY 5.83 an hour to work. I pay for my son to take JiuJitsu classes which average out to 5.83 an hour. I am an avid wrestler and now help teach the class my son takes. I still have to pay my son's monthly dues. My son's face seeing his dad teach if priceless thou.
 
Lowest hourly was bartending $2.30 per hour. Lowest pay was $5.35 per hour working in a wheat field.

$3.10 was minimum when I was 15......I've worked for less, including my first year of starting a business. I paid myself $200/week and worked about 100 hours a week minimum. That all worked out rather well though so I ain't complaining!
 
.95 cents an hour to work in a warehouse, throwing 50 lb bags of asbestos, 1965-1966, Good job, just hard to breath.

I have a kids karate class I teach at a rec centre for 1 hour they pay me about $25.00 but my own kids are at home with a babysitter who I pay $24.00

I make it up with the adult class though...they pay much higher.

5.75 per hour working at a tacobell in 1998. I was 14. it was more than minumum wage and i couldnt get a job elseware so i was happy.
 
I think it was like $2.50 plus tips when I waitressed at this one place. Even lower than that was babysitting for $3.00/hr in H.S.

Actually I worked as a dive master on scuba charters for tips. Save people's ass in the ocean and they give you $2. By the end of the summer I was able to break even for my $250 dive master insurance. So anyone whose ass I save doesn't sue me.

One time there was a girl who worked for a Seagrams distributor on the boat - she tipped us each w/ a bottle of Parrot Bay. Best tip ever.

after taht, a long tiem ago when iwas a wee delicious, i got about 8 bucks an hour to put on a tie selling groceries at a place called "Big Crow" (most embarrassing name ever, i quit)

sometimes I make nothing on the deal but I love those little brats and soon my own will be in the class.

minimum wage is what 5.15
that's about right

in the beginning I made pizzas cooked them etc
and then once I was asked to help bus the dining room
with the colored boys
I did too good of a job
I worked dining room 4 of 5 shifts thereafter
fuck I had my systems down

this place had a wide screen TV which was big stuff in 1979
me and the bros had the "dining room"
I remember once some chicken shit program was showing and I changed the channel to
battlestar gallactica
some poindexter white guy w/his kids and wife ordered me to change back
I did
then I went back to the dishwashing place(and hell I could wash dishes too)
and told the big nigger
"go out there and change it back to battlestar galactica"
not a peep from that guy w/kids
