Low test leading to ED @ 27?

Hey,Im 27 and latley my johnson has been feeling under the weather. When i do get it up its usually soft and doesnt last long.I cant remember the last time i got morning wood, and even when i J/o i cant really get hard. Been able to grab some viagra(which works great) for when im with my G/f, but she doesnt know about it. I've been able to rule out some factors. My b/p is fine, no diabetes, no drugs, no juice, and i quit smoking/ caffine over a month ago. so it seems to me that it could only be depression(which gets bad sometimes) or low test. I'm going to my doc on monday. But i was wondering if anyone here has had this experience , @ my age. If i do need HRT, is it expensive? Does it work? Tia for any info.

P.S. Ive been lifting 3x a week and running 2x a week for 4 years.

Good chance it's psychological induced ED; just going by your fitness regime, you should be producing plenty of test.

That being said, you've done yourself a HUGE favor by making an appt with your physician. When you are in there, talk very bluntly about what's going on, and what you've done.

Even if your doc nails the diagnosis as depression, URGE him to get a full blood test done, including free and bound testosterone, Thyroid, and Fasting glucose.

There's others here than can recommend more for the testing, but that should cover your bases.

About 3 years ago I was in the same boat as you, so I know what your going through. I did seriously think about HRT, and talked with my doc about it. While it will solve many, many problems, it can possibly create others.

This is right place to ask, though, because many members here are well versed in HRT.
