I agree with you. If your trying to get stronger there is not a need to go over 5 reps. Not only is there no need it wont help you it will only hurt you. I read something like the bodys main source of energy ATP only last 5 seconds then that is when the creatine phosphate stores come into play and that only last 5-6 seconds, therefore you only have 10-11 seconds to use that is why going over 5 reps is useless if your trying to get stronger.. Now obv. bodybuilding diff.
