Low Plateletes

hey...ive posted this under diff categories, but i think that this may be the better thread to get my question answered. i recently had blood work done at my dr. My liver function was high, i had a high creatine level in the kidneys, and my plateletes were very low. My kidney function is now back to normal, and the creatine level in the kidney is just a little high.......my platelets however are still very low. I have not touched A.S in over 4 and a half months..........is there anything i can do to bring my red blood cells/ plateletes back to normal? any supplements, ect that would help? Thanks for the input.

You also mentioned in that other thread that you haven't touched AS in over 8 months. Here you've dropped it to four and a half.

Blut Wump do u recomend iron in a supplement form or no?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'recommend'. If you have a medical problem then you should be consulting a doctor. From what you wrote in that other thread, your doctor said you should improve your diet.

If you're asking what I think I might do in your situation, I would eat more liver, two to three times per week, and supplement with brewers' yeast. I would also increase my consumption of leafy and green vegetables. You could even carry around sunflower seeds to snack on for their folate content.

I assume you're already taking a high-strength multi-vitamin/mineral supplement. If not, you should.
