the body will first work on consumed energy, then revert to stored energy ( in your muscles first ) then it will revert to breaking down muscle tissue into glucose for energy, then it will turn to stored fat for energy.
For the most part as long as your burning off the carbs you eat in a CKD so your body is mainly working with stored fat you should be fine, of course this is mainly dependant on your physical exertion or how quickly your body metabolizes sugar. Some people can only get by eating 20 grams of carbs on a CKD , while some can do 50g's or even 100g's and still manage to maintain ketosis for a majority of the day.
