Low body fat!!!!!

Well we all know to get bigger you have to go through a bulking stage. I dont want to go thorugh that stage therefor i maintain about a 4.5 body fat year round. right now IM at 3.6%. What are the bad effects that can happen to me from having too low body fat year round???? I just always want to be ripped....my metabolism is prob so f'd up right now too.

Your test levels will become low, IMO. You are probably in a catabolic state all of the time. Its absolutely terrible for you to stay that lean, if you really are that lean. I honestly noticed a growth of testicles after getting fatter (from very very lean to about 10%).

Try bromocriptine or Leptigen. They will supposedly help regulate your hormones when you are fairly lean.

That is extremely lean. I have read it is bad to go below 5% body fat for extended periods of time bc your cells start to destroy themselves. Also, I read an article in one of the recent Ironman magazines that said when on stage pro are anywhere from 5-7% body fat bc 5% of body fat is around the organs. It made me wonder what my real body fat % was.

catabolic state??? please explain
Low bodyfat leads to low leptin. Low leptin leads to increased catabolic hormones like cortisol and less anabolic hormones like testosterone, probably due to lower levels of leutenizing hormone.

I'm kind of talking out of my ass, so I think you should ask Par Deus --- he could probably give you the specifics.

In my experience, low body fat leads to physical weakness and lack of muscular growth.

I know this man, my strength is pretty weak sauce right now. My muscle isnt all that big either. 5"11 170., come one now, i graduated elementary school years ago. Anyway, i cant help it i love running, i run for days and tahts why i cant gain shit. i know i know its either or.
