for anyone interested...there's a power meet at Doc Rhodes gym in Gulfport this sat. 11th aug. but alas it'll be poly'd and piss tested. I'm going to watch a bud of mine in the old geezer's division. I was hoping to try out my new radical cut double denim velcro for maybe a 590-605 3rd or 4th attempt. I could pass a poly with a couple of valium,but not the tee tee test. oh well,I'll drink enough beer to drown my disappointment

Im originally from New Orleans.I lived there for about 25 yrs.Most of that time on the West Bank,Marrero,Harvey,Gretna...Lived in Harahan for awhile.I used to train at the French Riviera on Berhman Hwy.Damn I miss New Orleans especially after reading this thread.
