i got a Louis Vuitton wallet for a birth day gift and it is quite nice i have to say, i saw they had some awsome looking leather items for MEN: suitcases and ETC..........., any of you men have any Louis Vuitton gear?
 
I have LV luggage, I'm ebaying it soon to get some D&G luggage. My LV luggage is baller and all, i'm just tired of seeing everyone and their mom sporting it. It has treated me well I have to say... It will definitely get you some attention from hotel employees. I always feel like they are expecting ridiculous tips out of me, especially in vegas when I roll up w/ 5 matching LV bags =/

too many ppl have them and it is starting to become the norm....the LV store in the mall, does a ton of buisness....

o I ment every chic i see has a LV hand bag or some LV item........i have only seen the large items at the LV store...never seen it at the air port.....
 
Dunno.. Maybe it's because I am in NYC that I don't even believe peoples LV items are ever really anymore. I would say 1 out of every 4 or 5 people in the area seem to have the fak ething.. Just doesn't seem worth it

ny has soooo many fake handbag/luggage sellers it's almost sickening. Best way to tell on bags and the like is to look at the straps. You can tell when u flip the strap over on purses and the like, lv will be pretty underneath as well, where as fakes often have poor leather with shotty stich jobs, it just looks worse. Where the strap connects to the bag, there is also usually a high quality seam or piece of hardware... Fakes will look shitty. On suitcases and other large bags, LV uses one continuous thread all the way around the base to seam the bottom onto the bag. If the thread breaks once, they will pull the seam out and start over. All genuine louis bags have the bottom seamed on with one continuous thread.

Yeah when you buy them off the street they come with paperwork and covers.. Dunno I know people who buy them because they want the bag and dont want to pay the money. Plus unless someone is CLOSELY examing the bag no one will know

do they advertise them as "fakes" or do they charge full price and rip you off on ebay? i would never buy them anywhere but a LV store or shop
 
^both. My buddy works at the LV store and was telling me about an interesting scam...there are a lot of bags on ebay with no numbers inside... but they are real, supposedly the staff would sneak into the factory after hours to produce bags off the record. These bags aren't 100% certified real but they are LV and have the same level of quality. I've heard a lot of ebay'ed bags are in this category.

not copy... i've been waiting for the damn thing since b 4 u made this post. I do have a brown one as well.. The one i just got is the black murakami card holder... It's sick, although I will have to deal w/ morons thinking i'm gay b/c it has rainboy colors on it. YES it is a unisex wallet.

I have purchased fakes much more expensive than this (and so have lots of others) on ebay.....the real murakami's are in the thousands, the monogrammed LV are much more reasonably priced and I have bought a couple of those authentic, but the murakami's are hard to even find and then they are about $1,000 and up

FYI the fake I bought on ebay had dust cover, etc etc....looked authentic but it wasn't
