We had a dispatcher that did that BAD. Plus, we could hear tha spit hitting tha mic. It was gross.
It was like, "AMR 305, be enroute, *Gurgle, spit, heehaw, wet sound, slurp, heehaw* nonemergent for epistaxis. 72 y/o female. Pt is *heehaw, grunt, slurp* on bloodthinners. No additional information".It sucked, bad. Tha nights were so long when he worked.

That was the hard part. He was a REALLY nice guy. Super nice. Couldn't even get mad without feeling bad.

Yes. It was bad. The only thing that came close was this one lady. She always said: Just for your FYI...
I don't know why, but it really put me in a bad mood after about 4 hours. Plus, she was really slow. She would send us emergent to a wreck on the highway and when we would try to say "on scene", she would tell us to standby...we would sit there for like 2 minutes or suthin. We can't get out of tha ambulance until they copy our on scene time. That's when I would get into trouble for being a smartass on tha radio. I would say sumthin like, "copy, standing by with 3 patients waiting inside of tha burning auto".
It pissed me off because everyone is lookin at us like wtf?!?!? Is EMS finishing lunch before they get out to help or what!?? Meanwhile, if I get out before tha dispatcher answers me, I get suspended bc the company would pay tha city for us being late to the call because she can't record the time until she answers me. WTF??!?!!?!?
Yea, I try to be reasonable but it always made me blow my top. I dunno. Working on it.

my large roommate does this too.

i've learn to get past it. but sometimes bear and i will kid around and call him Darth W#$%^@ <--- his last name.
it only gets annoying when i come home, start playing fulltilt poker, and he comes in my room behind me sits on my bed and starts breathing on me. lol

Most large people are allergic to movement. Thus the allergic reaction loud ass breathing, grunts, groans, the occasional fart that they just can't hold in.

yes. plus he stays in his room (we call it the cave) 12 hours a day and only takes online classes. his door is always locked.
ill never forget the time his high ass got up and i was sleeping on the couch. it must of been 3am. had 3 slices of pizza left in the fridge. he grabbed a plate, tilted the box and took the slices then went in his room and locked the door. i was half asleep.
i saw it was all gone the next mourning. he said, "why would you leave an empty pizza box in the fridge?" (in his southern accent) so i ask him if he knew about it. he told me he was getting water when i called him out on getting up at 3am. i told him water comes from a sink not a fridge. and if he ever took my pizza again he would regret it. lol
