I don't know I think he wanted the guy to escape in exchange for that guy to help Walt escape.
On one hand, I am glad Ana is gone. I simply couldn't take that bad ass pout and posing much longer. Swear to god her contacts must have been implanted in her eyebrows because she couldn't do anything but lower her head and peer over them.

and in the next episode, it appears Mr Eko meets his demise.
Notice that will be all of the survivors from the tail section of the plane. (they seem to stop showing the older man married to the black lady.)
Who else from the other side of the island is left?
I like Mr Eko. He is the only one so far the island is scared of.

The whole Hurley being the the psycho ward still has me baffled. Is this really all in his head? Libby was in the psycho ward with Hurley or was that just a mind fuck to think that it may be in his head when it's not.

They never really said who lived of the two women. Maybe AL is still alive.
Notice the two people who got DWI after the cast party both got shot. Weird.

I saw some interview with the Ana actor and she said that she knew she was gonna get shot/die because her contract was up. Just couldn't say anything to anyone.....I think the blonde is still alive though. She was not on the interview. The Mr. Eko falling thing must have been a dream or something. I had a funny feeling about Michael from the start. The others must have gavin him access to his son if he turned on his "friends".....

I read that Lucina (whatever) was only meant to be on the show for one season.. lots of lost spoilers sites out there.

but I would have predicted that she was killed in more dramatic fashion. I mean, basically she got shot and died. Big deal. I would have had her kidnapped by the others and killed or either found dead and Sawyer blamed. Or killed by someone off screen and they never reveal who it is.
Yeah. Or at least just have her disappear in a kidnapping or personal journey or something so they could bring her back in the future. If needed.
Also I am really getting tired of Jack's God Complex. I used to think Sawyer would knock his ass out, then I thought Ana would... now I think it will be Eko. John is too much of a pussy.

Its nice to finally find a TV show I really enjoy. They really need to advance the story a little faster though.

yup. I've been avoiding this thread for 2 weeks till I caught up. Woohoo!!
remember when Locke played backgammon with Walt? I thought that it was going to be a battle of black vs white, now it looks more like sorting the shades of gray. I think only Locke and Hurley are the only 2 majors who can't justify killing anyone, everyone else is ready (Jack, Sayid) or has done it already (Kate, Sawyer).
Still a lot of flashbacks to come... when did Hurley start seeing things? Why were Libby, Eko, Rose& husband, Jin & Sun, in Australia? Did Locke really lose his legs or was it just psychological, and how?
and it seems like once Jack, Sawyer and Kate got rid of their personal demons (dad/boar/horse) their personalites all got worse?
and it was pretty f'n obvious Michael was leading them into a trap (only guards and 2 guns? When Jack etc got caught they gave up 4 and the Others already had at least 1), but I thought he was led to a fake camp, i didn't expect him to turn traitor.
