Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below hey guys i have a question i have been making stuff for a couple of yrs now and i just got finished doing test-e 400ml 250mg i put in the beaker 100 grams of powder 8 ml of ba and 72ml of bb and 245ml of cottonseed oil i also added an xtra 20ml of oil for any losses once everything was dissolved i ran my stuff thru a stericup and hand pump and thru the first cup it clogged and only got 100ml i had to do this and waste 4 stericups usually i only need 2 filters but that was only have the problem after filling my 10ml vials i should have gotten 40 of them give or take a few but i was blown away as i only got 33 10ml vials i am pissed do u guys have any ideas what was wrong ie quality of powder or wrong way of filtering thanks john

Did you actually measure out 10ml per vial?
All the 10ml vials I have used have been able to actually hold around 13ml maxed out.
You are missing ~70ml. 33 10ml vials with a 2cc's extra juice each = 66ml (just about what you are missing).
I hope this is the case for you. You will have physical losses with each and every transfer, but you would have to really mess it up to lose that much. Also, even if the powder wasn't very pure, I find it hard to believe you would lose 70 milliliters on 100g of powder. That would mean your powder had a density of 3.33g/ml, whereas testosterone enanthate is supposed to be 1.10g/ml. And that is a huge, HUGE difference.

You seem a little new at homebrewing, why dont you try smaller batches? You could use a Whatman syringe filter and do 20ml or 40ml at a time, at least you could practice util you get the flow down.
When I fisrt tarted brewing thats kind of what I did and I also played with the formulas. People sometimes want to default to what they have read vs what has been applied practically. This is where you start to learn what will hold with what formalas and at what concentrations.

Find a different powder source. Sound like there is a lot of foreign particles in your brew.
