Lost about 150lbs but now it has stopped!

I came down all the way from 380 to 229 but for some reason now ill be lucky if i lose 1 pound in a week i run 3 miles a day on a treadmill with the incline set at 5 for the first mile and a half then i put it down to 3 for the rest i run at 5mph anyone have any ideas on what the problem here could be? It is really getting frustrating!
 
is 3 miles a day any good or should i try and increase? another question is how many calories should i be burning right now im burning around 520-530 a day and about 160 fat cals what should i do

You are overtraining. Your body is in salvage mode and fighting as hard as possible since you are obviously in some sort of world-wide famine where you are always running from the dangerous wild beasts for 3 hours a day up the mountain. Or at least this is what your body thinks, so it is conserving as much as possible and your metabolism has slowed down sooo much that you naturely burn way fewer calories than you normally would.

I lost 145 and it has slowed down as well.
 
Well another thing i didnt mention before is the fact that i only eat one meal a day this is what i have been doing for a long time now so you think maybe if i just increased my food intake it might help to speed up my metabolism? My one meal a day consists of some sort of lean meat some vegetables and soup maybe some fruit but this is all consumed in one sitting. Should i be eating more?

1 meal a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES eat 4-6 times a day. and figure out your BMR http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/
then eat just a litte below that number in calories or eat that amount exactly and continue to do cardio 4 times a week but only for 40 minutes or so. NOT 3 hours. no need to run marathons.
 
bro... read through the link I posted for you, it has all the info and Links you need to succeed.

Yeah eating one meal per day is horrible. Eat 6 small meals.
 
i said 4-6 because I know personally how hard it is to get in 6 meals :-)
make sure 4 is your absolute last resort minimum!

I love eating I eat a lot lol, yes you need to eat to lose. I ate like a wild monkey yeaterday and I dropped another two lbs :D

At 229lbs , your BMR is around 2750 calories per day. I'm going to assume you get about 500-800 calories from your 1 meal (being liberal here), and you are putting yourself in a 2000 calorie deficit. In addition, you are more likely than not overtraining.

Read over my links above first, then we can discuss your situation further.

Are you talking to me here, you said I'm so I am confused...
