LOSING FAT and GAINING MUSCLE WEIGHT Simultaneously??

What is the best training method for this?

Wouldn't the diet of eating lots(bulking phase)for a year and then cutting up not too healthy for the liver?

My belly scrapes the ground when I walk and I have turkey arms...but my legs need ALOT of size. So basically I want alot more muscles down there but at the same time get cut up in my torso

Any recommended diets? way of training, etc would be appreciated

What are your stats? Weight, height, body fat estimate?

Aside from that, most people I know that were overweight (I'm not saying you are, but just assuming based on your belly scraping comment) tried to cut weight first by incorporating a ton of cardio paired with a very clean calorie deficient diet. Of course you would want to weight train too for the toning aspects of it.

I just don't see you being able to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time, though it is possible, but rare.

well I'm not the fattest thing on earth. I guess that belly scraping the ground was just an exaggeration. But I'm more on the chubby side. I'm weighing 110 standing 5 ft 2, 25% bodyfat.

the easier it is to bulk and cut at the same time.


i mean, just start eating right with a moderate caloric excess.
if youre a fat slob because you've already being eating real shitty with a big caloric surplus and you dont lift at all than yes, cleaning up your diet, keeping the cals in check, eating smaller portions, eating more often and lifting hard will definitely get you where you want to be fast. and the sloppier and weaker you are, the faster you will make progress.

problem is when you get there you want more
and THATS when youre gonna have to strategize.

Is there a reason you reference him as a "fat and pathetic/ slob" and "sloppy and weak". I'm 100% sure that's totally unnecessary.

Eat BIG to Train BIG..... what I mean is you Can Eat alot of Food but eat clean Food / Supplements / Shakes.... Do cardio atleast 3 times a week for 30 - 45 mins and Hit the Weights Hard ... But Dieting is the hardest and the most important part to shedding the Fat Bro.

If you can Train with out over training...(you in general) Try to hit your upper body parts twice a week with the more heavy weights and less reps in the begining of the week with Majority of Free Weights and at the end of the week do Lighter Weights higher reps at the end of the week....do your legs on Wednesdays. Works for me...but everyone is different. Good Luck.
 
im currently losing fat and gaining muscle bro. i eat only chicken breast, salad with lots of veggies and dill weed and use vinegar and olive oil mix for dressing, fruit, Clean protein shakes raw egg whites. it mostly depends on your body though
 
I lost weight and gained muscle same way as nickda...very easy. I lost 30 lbs of fat around my gut in a hurry, now my weight is slowly increasing and my gut is continuing to slowly shrink.
 
Ok there are basically 2 ways you can do it (w/o juicin'):

1) As others have said, if you're starting from a high body fat % it's relatively easy. Or even just a beginner period, it's doable. This obviously applies to a limited number of people. So that leaves us with....

2) Get creative with the timing of your caloric intake. This could take any number of forms, the simplest of which being, eat maintenance or "cut" calories at all periods except for the few hours post workout in which you really tie on the feed bag and eat like a horse.

Another method would be the "zigzag" diet, in which you eat high calories for a period, followed by a period of low calories. You might go 5 high/2 low or 11 high/3 low or some variation on that depending on what you need.
