I want to read a book that doesn't suck. Honestly, I am open to anything, but if you would like me to name what interests me most at this very moment in time, it would be explosive, speed, and power type training. I want a more advanced look at things, not a beginner read. I hate droping dime on something Men's Health told me 12 years ago or someone's opinion (or a reiteration of someone else's) with nothing to back it up. Tell me your favorite 3 books you have ever read, about anything relating to health, fitness, training, etc.
Here are mine:
1. Bodyopus by Dan Duchaine
2. Food Pharmacy (Jean Harper I think, I read this one when I was in middle school, but I still refer back to it)
3. Poliquin Principles. He is kind of funny, but this book has great, basic, sound workouts, mostly for mass. I still bust them out every once in a while.
None of these are even remotely recent reads, meaning everything I have read over the last few years was a disappointment.
