looking for recos on a vacation spot

me and boo are headin out for some relax time. not too touristy, beachy, relaxing time. not too "old person focused" either. can be out of the country (preferred, actually).

was waiting for that.

we're east coast, leaving from NYC. budget - not too high, don't have an exact number. she has hotel hook-ups so our room may be very cheap.
 
If you want out of the country CR is actually a pretty good option, all inclusive hotels can be about $60-80 p/p per night (they include, all meals, buffet and liquor) normal hotels wioth just stay and breakfast can run from $30 to $50 p/p per night, and there's even cheaper places depending what u actually want, we have volcano, rain forest, beaches, canopy, bungee, open fishing, whale/dolphin and turtle watching and more.

For my honeymoon I stayed in, went to an awesome beach hotel that was $60 per night for both of us (nice room, cable, AC, Wifi, safe, etc) and took a fishing, snorkeling and whale watching tour for $60 p/p it was AWESOME.

I hear Belize and Brazil are very nice too.

thanks, i might holla. boo has friends who lived there and she seems to be very much up on the research front so i'm letting her run with it. i'll tell you this - we're flying into San Jose and staying in Puntarenas (she has a hotel hook up there on the cheap). We know we'll spend at least one day on Tortuga Island and definitely want to peep the rainforest (boo mentioned "cloud forest" or something).

I dont like Puntarenas... :worried: it's not ugly but the nice part is Guanacaste, also our airport is SJO however it's not physically located in San Jose it's about 10-15 miles from downtownGan Jose.

it's funny cause i have a good friend who loves puntarenas. this is why i never ask people for their opinion - it's silly and can go either way depending on who you ask.

word, though, word. :D
 
i'm spending 2 weeks in feb at Marco Island in florida.. but might be too old folk for ya.. scored 1200sq feet 2b /2b on water for $825 week..

I just wanna go to the Coach outlet north of Seattle. :sulk:
