Looking for Blood pressure inputs

Taking 5/40 Lotrel for high blood pressure. Currently on medication my BP is 120/70 down from 176/95 while on Cypionate before and no medication. I have sleep apnea as well. I had a sub arachnoid hemorrage in the base of my skull in a vein that healed itself. The CPAP mask is supposed to help blood pressure and the Lotrel does too. Can I get real feedback from those that have had high blood pressure and then go on BP meds and do AAS and their experiences. I will monitor BP up to six times per day with the home unit I purchased. However, I do not want to get near the high BP I had before. I am 6'2" and 285 lbs and need to lose lots of body fat first I know. I just want solid input on the BP issue and people that have had real problems in the past and have done AAS again.

Jesus! well in your case I'm pretty sure the high BP is due to high body fat. DO NOT TOUCH STEROIDS. What is your BF%? You really need to adjust your body to a natural healthy state first and start from there.

I'm going to have to agree with DJ. Sleep apnea requiring CPAP is nothing to joke about and that is just one of several medical problems you mentioned. Even though some would argue steroids would not make your condition(s) worse, they definitely would complicate treatment from your doctor. (He would never know what is causing what; his treatment or the steroids). It would be much wiser to get your problems under control prior to starting the juice.

I agree totally with the "get my shit together" advice. It is realistic that body fat loss could and should aide in some of the problems I am having currently. Today, can be the first day of my resurrection.

the blood pressure is under control, you are at goal with 120/70. That being said, you need to look at the secondary aspect of what looks like metabolic syndrome, and that is your lipid profile. since you have already had an attack, you should be on a statin, and that statin should be atorvistatin. it is the only one that is proven to reduce risks of another event by 50% the data would suggest you should be on 80mg. Keep up the cardio, and bet a FPG or OGT test done. If you get back on, and your BP starts to creep, look into a DHP CCB like amlodipine or an older filodipine. they have a gradual onset of action and should help.

well i do not agree with the medical advice in the previous post, beyond the extent of taking the BP medication. at this point you need to focus on diet and losing weight. those strategies will help you address any metabolic syndrome issues. you can re-evaluate the need for medications once you reach your target weight. at that point rather than adding a statin you may actually find you can reduce your BP medication.

in regards to anabolics obviously you need to avoid anything that will drive up your BP. so keep things very conservative. HRT level testosterone with estrogen management with adex or aromisin, and you could add something like primo, eq, or anavar. in a case like yours, the steroids (at conservative dosages) AND regular exercise with weight loss, will likely improve your insulin sensitivity. selective adnrogen receptor modulators (SARMS) are being researched specifically for their anabolic action to help improved insulin sensitivty in type 2 diabetics. prelimanary results are very promising, and these studies are on sedentary individuals. add some exercise and result would likely improve considerably.

i have a target weight in mind......drop 50 lbs.

how fast can I lose 50 lbs?? some say six months others say a year.

I was in you basic shape not too lng ago. I was 6'2" 282, my only physical ailment was high BP. I spent the night in the ER with very elevated BP and had chest pains. Luckily high BP was my only problem. I went back in the gym religously 5 days a week, lifting, abs and 20-30mins of cardio a day. I started eating better and quit swilling beers. I was down to 250 in 5 months, as I was lifting heavy and adding muscle I was happy to stay at 250. My appearance is dramaticly different now. I have good genetics and put on alot of muscle fairly quickly which pushed me too stay with it. I get called swole now :) . I started a low dose cycle 4 weeks ago, test enth 300mg per week and 50mg of var starting this week for 5 weeks. I put on a few pounds of water so far but am getting strong as a bull. MY BP was dead on after 3 months, drink a gallon a water a day starting now.

I Am On Hrt. 150 Mg Test Cyp Per Week And 4 Iu Gh. Bp Was High. Not Overweight. Was Doing A Lot Of Weight Training And Not Much Cardio. Doc Said Weight Training Alone Will Raise Blood Pressure And I Needed To Do More Cardio. Did More Cardio For A Month And Did Lower Bp. Was 150/100 Now I Believe 130/80. Honestly My Diet Is Not The Best. Due To Go Back To Doc On 2 Weeks Again. My Doc Is Against Bp Meds Says There Poison.
