New member
im looking to buy a box of protein bars. i already saw needto's bars. but im in a dorm and dont have any access to make bars. so i need some premade bars. im looking for something 100% natural like needto's bars. also the bar needs to have whey protein. because i have a sensitive stomach and only whey isolates work. so any suggestions? currently im looking at the detour bars

ZeroImpact bars are unbelievably good. They also have one of the top ingredient profiles on the market.

"20g Protein. High in Protein. No Trans Fats. 23 Vitamins and minerals. The entirely natural protein bar. When work feels like a workout. I know that feeling. Throughout high school and well into my twenties, most jobs put my body through the ringer on a daily basis. Back then, I didn't care about natural ingredients or organic foods; I do now. And that's the principle behind my Builder's Bar. It's an entirely natural protein bar for those who put their own body through the ringer. The Builder's Bar contains 20 grams of whole proteins. Without hydrogenated oils or trans fats, the Builder's Bar is a cut above many other protein options. And with its distinctive crispy, chewy texture, I hope you'll find them more delicious, too. Enjoy! 35% Organic ingredients."

that is the ingredents list to those bars^^^^^^^^^^^^^
lmfoa you got to be kidding me.... Label laws say you have to list ingredents from most to least... I find it no surprise that first on this bars list is (soy protein)lol

Chicory syrup= label trick. Its pretty much sugar
Fractionated Palm Kernel Oil= aka Saturated Fat

Vegetable Glycerine= is a clear, colorless, and odorless liquid
Its used in soup, shampoo, and other cleaning agents. More man mad crap. This is prob one of the lesser evils though. Its pretty much a sugar oil too.

Inulins are a group of naturally occurring polysaccharides (several simple sugars linked together)

I would like the time to point out that do to label laws these bars can use 500 different forms of sugar and as long as it is not sugar they do not have to put it on the label as such... How ever its fucking sugar lol..

Soy Lecithin= lmao i love this one

What is soy lecithin?

In the early 1900’s, the yet to be named ’soy lecithin’ was just a waste product produced during the “degumming” process of soybean oil. By 1908 the soy bean crushing and soy oil refining companies had expanded and they were having trouble disposing of the large amounts of foul smelling, fermenting waste product. Soy plants in Germany decided to name this waste product ’soy lecithin’ and looked for ways to utilize it. By 1939 scientists had found more than 1,000 different ways to use soy lecithin.

It’s important to note that solvents are used during the “degumming” process of soybean oil, so soy lecithin itself is likely to contain chemical solvents!!!!!!!!

Dicalcium Phosphate= fuck that fucking shit=
DiCalcium Phosphate

Ascorbic Acid= Ascorbic Acid is not Vitamin C - Health Supreme

And on and on and on and on and on... God that bars ingredents list is like a fucking bad novel that just never ends man.

needto, are there any pre-made bars that you would recommend. because i really want your bars, but i dont have the ability to make them. when i go home in the summer i am probably going to get them.

I AM PUMPED!!!!!

When I went to check my mail today, I had a package. My NEEDTO PROTEIN BARS ARRIVED TODAY!

After reading the instructions, I am impressed.

THEY ARE NO BAKE. ANYONE CAN MAKE THEM ANYWHERE!

You need a refridgerator to chill them but if your dorm doesn't have one, I am sure ya'll got a cooler and some ice, right? That will work perfectly!

Tonight I am going to mix up a batch.

that actually sounds pretty good. yea i have a refrigerator in the room. i think im going to give it a shot. thanks

I like to eat a few before a put them in the fridge.. Try them like that bro.. They are all moist and soft as hell like that. I kind of like they like that..

Need2,

I think the only reason why people were offering suggestions to other bars was because of the bold:

Again the bars are no bake. You do not need to cook them.. You can mix them in any container that holds food. you could buy a tupperware bowl and make them in that.

Ah, good to know.

Was unaware. :o

got mine coming, i will try the original for the 1st bag.. then almond butter on the 2nd and go from there..

excellent..

I'm considering adding fibersure to one of the batches, since i have special needs.. it has no taste, and shouldn't do anything to the bars but add more fiber.. in baking with it, there isn't any effect to the end product..

THe bars are no bake... Fuck man I really have to right this down on the web site..

No all you do is mix them and they are ready to eat.. Adding the fiber mix would just make them more dry. Add a little water to the mix and it will work fine.
