how long does it take for you to get to work? What is the longest commute time you would consider?

It takes me over 40 minutes in and 55 minutes home. I don't even want to be doing this commute.

25 in 35 out. I would hate to go any further than I am now.

would you consider 1.5 hours each way?

I have donw 1.5hours before, and it was hell... perhaps I am answering my own question... job looked ok tho...

35-45 minutes now, wouldn't do much more than that...

1.5 hours.. no I wouldn't do it. I'd move. :)

It depends on what time I roll. If I roll before 7am (roll being leave my driveway) I am @ the office in 20 tops. If I wait until like 7:30 to roll, then it can take over an hour and that is not with any type of rain, snow, etc...

When traffice gets thick out here in Dallas - it sucks to be driving.

So you do things early to avoid spending 2 hours a day in traffic. It goes the same way after work as well - Leave Late less traffic...I think we are hiring an Assistant Treasurer (includes relocation package Seastone). :)

I think Americans are lucky with regards the daily work commute.. we in the UK have the worst and longest commutes in the world.. I did 2 hours each way one, that was rotten and made me very stressed..

Yeah you're right.. more than 1 hour is too much...

:D Well let me just update my resume, and I have Jerkbox to use as a reference, clearly he will have nothing but good things to say.

One good thing about being far from work is you get a lot of "snow days". :D When you live 5 minutes away, you can't get away with that.
