Apparently he is. My female friend met him for some business in Montreal back in may (couldnt on that day unfortunately) and from what she told me, he was nice and far from being a "showoff".

I end up just feeling sorry for them, its tough for me to imagine being that frustrated with my own life that I feel the need to lash out at others. I think sometimes a good hug might help.
