LOL Stupid Speed cameras

So I get in the mail a speeding ticket via one of those speed cameras they post on streets. Images of the car and the license plate are included in the mailing. So I'm looking at the date/time and I'm like, "7:10am???" No one here is usually outside the house that early. "Nelson Street?????" When does either one of us ever drive down Nelson street?

After much deliberation, one of the days I decided to go to the gym before work (Ive done this like 3 times in the past 3 weeks) I guess I got a ticket on my way home. That's the only time I would be out of the house that early and driving on Nelson st.

fuck I was only going 37!!!!

Ah well another $40 down the drain.

I am shocked I have never gotten one before. Actually more amazed than shocked.

I dont like those things, and don't trust them..What if it got lost in the mail or something? Then one would be defaulted!

yeah Im somewhat surprised I havent gotten one before because I drive about 30-45 mins each way to work everyday and I do tend to have a lead foot.

Wow I don't think we have speeding cameras here. I speed often and have never received one. lol We do have red light runner cameras now though.

well i dont know about the rules concerning speed cams but I know the portable ones the cops use manually, it's only accurate within 7 mPH so if someone nails you for going 5 over you can just be adamant about doing the real speed limit and they will toss it.

In Vegas we don't have speeding camara's yet. We don't have $40 tickets either - damn that's hardly a slap on the wrist.
