How many mistakes can a cop make in one routine accident?

The answer is.............a very large number.

Here are a few:

Say it was raining when it was bone dry.

Say one vehicle got hit in thefront when the hood is still perfect. It got totalled from the side.

Mistake old skid marks from a truck with dualies with a van without dualies.

Say there were "no witnesses" then write down the names and addresses of two others on the report!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Say the van was overloaded when it was carrying less than 1/2 of its carrying capacity.

Say the van had two tires blown out in the accident when it only had one.

Believe a ladyisbadly hurt when she was walking around accusing and enticing the victim within seconds of this supposed "accident".

Thats a start. I'll keep the rest to myself for now.

besides....I am still at least 50% persuaded that it was a hit.

If this lawyer "discovers" this, it is simply more mounting evidence.

seriously. I never was in an accident until recently. we got rear ended. I was like "don't you want to take down my name" he is like "well are you hurt?"

I was like WTF, what if I am hurting tomorrow? I made him take down names and shit anyways. morons.

The same thing happened to me last month. I was minding my own business and some girl that acted like she had just finished her morning crac cocaine t-boned me at 45 MPH. I was heading home from the county clerks office where I had just paid taxes and registration on my vehicle. To make matters worse she doesnt have insurance. She had no proof of registration, etc. She never showed up for court and has warrants out for her arrest but I doubt I will ever get any money out of the deal, she probably ran off to mexico or something. Anyway the cop wrote down wrong directions on the accident report and just put x's in place of the speeds and such. He started writing me a ticket for not having insurance even though I did and had proof, it took showing him like 3 times before he realized what it was... Anyhow that kind of stuff just sucks. I probably would have been dead if I had been hit on the drivers side but the impact on the passenger side threw me into the nice comfortable door instead of across the whole truck. Never going anywhere without a seatbelt again...Thats my rant.

Given the horrible driving skills of the average driver here in colorado, and the suprisingly low competency level of cops in the area... I would guess this is about average....
