I was doing ride-alongs to see how it is in the LAPD... to see if that's where I want to work.


cas, not really much in the stories dept... i saw some preety sad stuff though, like stabbings, crack cocaine trips, drug trips, a lot of gangs, some mexican dude with over $15,000 cash on him saying that "i'm going to deposit it in a bank" at 9pm.. LOL. He was going to buy a kilo of coke most likely.

plus a lot more shit. if you're interested in LE, always go on a ride-along.

Oh, so you got to rub shoulders with the brighter side of humanity, in other words.

I've thought of doing a ride along just for the hell of it, even though I'm not really interested in law enforcement as a career.
