Little HelpFul Tips Anyone??

For Starters. Howdy!
Newbie here.
Little about me.. im about 6'1-6'2 around there
- 160lbs
- 21 yrs old

I've been working out for a few years now. but seriously for the past year and a half.
Since that time i have put on roughly 40lbs-ish
yes i was about 120lbs... lanky lanky! hehe
not someting one is generaly happy with.

so i came accross this site, and have now joined with you all to share our common intrest.

i was hearing that Flax Seed Oil is good for you. i was wondering howcome, and how often it should be taken.

as for shakes, i regularly take my protein. SHOULD Creatine be taken immidiatly after the workout, followed by the Protein? any suggestions?

now as for goals.. what else rite? most of us want to be huge! we all have our ideal image we want to achieve! im at a point now where, i am seeing almost no advancement. i wanted to know what i could do to keep moving forward.
as for Mass gains.. what would one consider to be decent annualy? Steriod free. tho i do have an intrest in it, i have not yet taken any. im just undure about the side effects.. yada yada yada....

Flaxseed is full of omega 3 fatty acids, an essential fat that the body cannot poduce on it's own...it'll keep your heart healthy along with other benefits such as optimal testosterone production. Not sure how much is recommended but I take 2-3 servings a day along with all natural peanut butter, another good fat.

Take the creatine with your protein/dextrose shake after you workout. Gatorade powder is a good source of dextrose.

I you want to put on more size that means you'll have to start eating more. Set small goals, like maybe a 10 pound gain in 3 months and go from there. You're fairly light for your height so you shouldn't have a problem with bulking for a solid year or more. You can always cut for a few weeks along the way if you feel like you're putting on too much fat.
 
i was the average.. but when u hit the growth spurt... you know how it works. lol
the height came out of nowhere... but the size stayed behind.

i eat like an animal.. extreeeeeeeemly high motabolizm

its what?...5 small meals a day or such?.....
i probably almost double if not do eat more then the average person. shakes not included.

i will make a short term weight gain goal. tho im unsure on what would be reasonable. i suppose 10lbs is good for 3 mos... Lots of work.. Guess thats y they call it a "Goal" can get n e where by sittin on ur A$$!
 
I have a high metabolism too...makes it tough. You just have to be consistent. Peanut butter is a staple in my diet...high in calories. Try drinking milk with all of your meals. That's another way to get in some good calories. Good luck.
 
deinfately drink milk..

i try to get in a glass of milk anytime i can. however i would warn not to go all out the first time you drink a large amount of milk as compared to all other times... as you may have some.. well.. digestive problems :p

anyway, i'm still trying to find my groove with the milk. it's around ~1L per day
 
infact.. how good is milk for you?

what would be better? whole? skim? 2%??

im a milk monster, it doesnt last at this house,
ya know those 3 individual bags in one? gone in like 2 days!
 
1% or skim is probably optimal...lower saturated fat, but I wouldn't be too overly concerned about it.
