I finished up my cycle this past sunday with my last shot and my glute looks like it has all the signs of an abcess (redness, hot to the touch, big old lump, etc.) except it really doest't hurt much at all any more. The shit that i was using had an unbelievable amount of BA in it and every injection i took hurt like a bitch for 2 or 3 days but with out the aforementioned symptoms. I'm kinda concerned about this, can any one tell me what an abcess is exactly and what can be done about it? Really don't want to go to the doctor but if this turns out to be the real deal then I guess I don't have much of a choice. Should I give it a couple more days? Thanks to all who respond.

If it's a real abcess (infection in the muscle) then you'll need anti-biotics....go see the doc.
If it's not sore, and still doesnt have any purple or red streaks (a sure sign of abcess and pending blood infection) you might be ok. Use hot compresses for a day or two, you might have hit the last of the BA in the bottle....If it's got any of the aforementioned signs, go see the doc, they give out antibiotic scrips like candy these days, so it's no big deal....just feign ignorance as to where it came from.

IMO, if you have to ask, go see a doctor.
It might be cellulitus. My symptoms were pretty severe. I was in extreme pain, sweating profusedly. The area was just as you described-Hot, Red, Swolen. My temparature was high as well. Go to the Doc soon. If it gets too bad and there is an abcess........you are gonna get your ass cut open and drained. And if you tell the Doc you are Juicing, look out they get pissed off. If it is not totally obvious that you injected yourself, tell em' that you got stuck with a sharp object and it penetrated the area in question. Good luck bro.
