little competitive advice

Hey bros, I've got a question about competing....I currently am interested in doing a show, however if I competed now I would compete in an NPC show at the lower ends of the middle weight....i feel i can bring a good package however i might get a little outsized.. do u think im better of competing this year and getting my feet wet or taking the year to put on the size to get into the middle to upper levels of the weight class...I really wanna get a competition under belt but i dont wanna get housed at the show

That is hosed, but, if your ripped and solid you wil do fine at your weight. Experience is great even if you get hosed!

Posing is key. The practice you will get in on-stage posing alone would be worth it. And if you dont mind the result of how you come out, then go for it.

Having said that, I am assuming that you have the body for the show you are thinking of entering. You probably know who will be there so judge yourself. If you are close, go for it. If you are 15% bf and are just wanting to do a show, then wait.
