lets see who's more fucked up..

As some may know I have had tendonitis of the forearms for a few months now. As of the last week I have been having back spasms soo bad that it drops me to my knees when it happens and now I think I have bronchitis.

Beat that.

my back fawkin hurts. but that's temporary.

I have more permanent problems such as scoliosis, uneven legs (3/4 inch), uneven hips, dislocating knees and shoulders (has gotten better with lifting and increased strength).

Currently I am injury free. Im thankful for that.

Both my wrists are messed up. One was from drunk arm wrestling in New Orleans two years ago and the other one was from shitty form on upright rows. Now my right shoulder is starting to hurt during chest workouts. That's all I got.

right elbow, tendonosis on inside and outside. IE)Tennis elbow and golfers elbow
Left elbow, tendonosis on inside
left shoulder, inflamation of infra spinatus
right stomach, strain of intercostals and obliques
Back, crack in 3rd disc from bottom

Besides all that I feel great LOL.

meh.. had essential tremors all my life.. it sucks. other than that no real ailments.

I get one of those in my index finger every now and then. At first I thought Parkinson's Disease but researched it on the web and am convinced it is an essential tremor.

I'm too old not to have anything wrong with me so basically I have many. At my age, never trust a woman or a fart.

strained rotator cuff.

I think I just got a zit on my cheek.

My ass is waaaay to hairy for my own good.

My gut is so big I haven't seen my penis in 3 years.

Hmmm where to start...I have post-tibial tendonitis as well as Plantar Fasciitis in both feet (have had that for 3 years now...too much raving on "e" a few years back). I have a fucked up back (curvuture in my spine is abnormal) as a result of being ran over twice by vehicles when I was younger. I also have a semi-paralysed left side of my face (Bells Palsy), as a result I can no longer blink and my smile is all fucked up. Thats about it.

Because you asked...

I have had GI problems since I was a kid... hiatal hernia, reflux, h-pylori. They got so bad 2 years ago I had surgery that was supposed buy me like 10 years relief. It only made things worse and fucked me up in ways that I don't care to openly discuss (waaaaaay not sexy LOL).

My stomach manufactures and abundance of acid causing constant nasuea and pain. I am always hungry but I feel full all the time.

The surgery failed (last resort for peeps in their 50 - 60's. I am about 37) so acid is now again backing up into my other systems. As a result my teeth are rotting too quickly (luckily it is only the back so far), it is getting more difficult for me to keep my hair, I feel dizzy and lightheaded, near pass out a lot, can't think intelligently as I am starving often and I have to fight to keep every ounce of my lean mass and not shrivel up to sub 100 pounds as I was several years back. My GI tract also doesn't absorp food properly causing a whole nuther host of problems and makes me especially suseptible to injury.

I have had a permanent painful lump in my throat for over 3 months which has been restricting my ability to breathe, cough and gasp for breath, especially at night, lose my damaged voice frequently.

I had been without health insurance for a year, have it now, but it is so crappy that I can't afford a doc anyway.

But as long as I keep making it to the gym... I will be ok.

Last summer something happend with my right ancle. It hurt and swelled bayond beliefs. i went to the doc, he gave me some painkillers and told me to come back in three days if nothing happend. well i did. and from there we did all kindsa test MRI, x-ray and so on. the ass didnt find anything. finally after around 3 months it started feel better. and the doc's actually told me when i asked what it was "well i dunno, but you're either gonna get better or you're gonna get worse"..ass

welll now i have been carefull with the ancle. but now and then i feel something in it and it scares me shitless.

Wow, that sucked the fun right out of the thread. :verygood:

Isn't there a sponge thing they can implant in you nowadays? I heard of sumpin like that the other day when discussing GIRT/reflux et al.

LOL well he asked, didn't he?

I have had my stomach surgically altered (Nissen fundoplikation). It is now 2/3 its original size with an artificial tightening of the opening between stomach and esophagus. This is the last resort... not the first plan of attack. May will be 2 years since I had it done and hell doesn't begin to describe what I feel most of the time. But I have had suffered with this most of my life so I have just gotten used to it. Problem is it has gotten steadily and progressively worse and there is nothing that can be done (that any of the docs that I have seen know of and I have seen more than I care to remember over the past 10 years or so) to halt the process or slow it very much. I was taking 5x's the recommended daily dose of perscription acid inhibitors and the sides this caused were not worth the relief the meds provided.

The last doc who saw me was passing me off to yet another collegue calling me "an enigma" because I was a competitive bber - very active, in excellent condition, uber clean diet, no smoking rarely ever drinking, no recreational drugs but I still had the insides of a 65 year old, obese, sedentary, male smoker! hehehehee

The lump in my throat is what will cause me to seek a doctor's help (last year the ENT guy I went to see said that I had definite damage to my vocal chords and should have them looked at every 6 mos or so) as it not only interferes with swallowing, is painful, causes me to lose my voice, but it is frequently interrupting my breathing... pretty scary when you feel like you can't breathe no matter how widely you open your mouth.

BUT - as I said, the insurance I do have is so crappy I can't afford even one freaking test in addition to the fact that I am scared shitless of more painful tests, drugs and god knows what else that I just keep putting it off.

Yet another reason why I chose to try to move last year... Once my country (I have dual citizenship) joined the EU (next month) I would have been entitled to health benefits and my kids entitled to one of the best free educations around.

Hey, I am not trying to bring anyone down. The way I look at it I have it pretty good. I have direction and goals which keep me fighting. There are others who lack direction or fight or who have far worse conditions than me.

Another reason I have to be careful what I do just now, until all of the investigations in connection to my kids is complete I must hide this carefully. If anyone that has a say in this matter finds out that my health is failing, I will never be able to regain custody. There is no way in hell I will let that happen. My kids already know not to tell their father, but if I have to start with all sorts of test, etc and he finds out, I am fucked... and so are my kids.

I have waited a year. Another month or two of discomfort won't kill me.

By the way, if there is anyone out there that knows the name of good GI or ENT please PM me... I truly appreciate it. I won't go to a doc that will treat me like something in a petri dish. I have put up with far too much abuse in my personal life in the past to pay big bucks to be abused by a freaking doctor with a "god complex".

And Code, thanx too... I will try to look into this sponge thing. I've not heard of it. (GERD - gastro esophageal reflux disease is the proper term)

just the fact that i have barely any cartlidge left in my left knee, and that knee's flexibility and strength is very limited....other than that, I'm golden.

LOL yes, my titties are doing fine thanx to a 10$ Walmart push up bra! ;)

Thank you for the link. Even though this clinic is far from me I will call or email for info. I don't see how this will help me though as I have already had surgery which essentially did the same thing with no result... but I will call and ask. What is the worst that will happen? Nothing.

Really, thank you. I'd not ever heard of this. I'll let you know what I find out. Thank you very much.

You can PM Wynn, but he lives in NJ. Most doctors are a piece of shit. They view you as an annoyance that they have to get through to get their paycheck.

I knew it was something like that, I like to call it GURT. Cuz it ryhmes with hurt and that's what it causes.
