Lipo Dissolve

I have been reading about Lipo Dissolve injections which is Lipostabil: Deoxycholate + Phosphatidylcholine. Does anybody know anything about this? Sounds like a great product for stubborn fat. What are the dosages? Frequency? etc ???

This is the first i've heard of it...i'll do some reading on it as it sounds interesting, but i think needto is right. If it worked that great more people would probably be talking/using it.

Do some google searches and you will see before and after pics of people who have done it.

It is very pricey.

Here is a price quote from a website I found

Lipodissolve Costs
Costs for lipodissolve may range from $375 to $1,500 per treatment. Up to six treatments may be needed.

The extent of treatment also makes a cost difference. For example, fat removal under the eyes or chin will cost less than removal of saddlebags. The amount of medication required also depends on the area to be treated.

The results are minimal (from what i see on the before and after pics) and very pricey. Maybe if you had a small amount of stubborn you couldn't get rid of, it might be worth it.

Needto, Your prob right! People might just not talk because of the prices though or they just never heard of it. I have googled it and even watched the utube videos. I just cant find what the dosage is for 1 treatment.

i had a link for a kit.. but it's not working now.. so i'm not sure..

the write ups were that there were too many injections for most people to complete the sessions..

it's effective, but only if people stop eating french fries..

yeah i knew this girl that worked at a lipo-disolve clinic. She said that alot of people came back complaining about the product, they were saying that it is inneffective unless you stick to a loyal diet and a weight training program. Which you would lose weight anyways:p

plus i agree with needto, if it was that great lipo-disolve would be all over this community.

Quite a feww of these about, I know the lawyers dealing with this, not nice. I would love to hear the other side to this coin though.

Reaction after being injected with Lipostabil

Adverse reaction to Lipostabil

10/11/2006

A patient who suffered an adverse reaction after being injected with Lipostabil, as a cosmetic treatment for the reduction of fat, is suing the surgeon who carried out the procedure. The client who wishes to remain anonymous, and is known as Miss A, developed an infection in both legs resulting in deep ulcers which needed excision under general anaesthetic. She had to remain in hospital for a week following the above operation and was off work for over 4 months after experiencing a great deal of pain in both legs. She has been left with extensive scarring which will require further surgery to rectify the problem.

The UK regulatory body, The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, in June 2005, made clear that Lipostabil is not licensed in the UK for cosmetic use and should not be injected under the skin. Lipostabil is a soya-based product which is intended to be used intravenously for the prevention and treatment of fat blockages in blood vessels. The drug's manufacturer, Sanofi-Aventis, has warned that the drug is not designed to be administered under the skin and is not safe for cosmetic purposes.

Despite this, many cosmetic surgery clinics are continuing to offer Lipostabil to patients and others are offering the drug for sale over the internet for self-injection at home.

David Cook from law firm Irwin Mitchell who is representing Miss A, said "Unfortunately, some cosmetic surgeries are continuing to offer this treatment and people should be aware of the risks and that these clinics should not be offering it. Our client is extremely traumatised by this treatment which she thought was a minimal risk. We would recommend that anyone who has had this treatment and suffered similar side effects should seek legal advice."
