I had to take a break from reading and note taking. How does anyone have a job? This shit is addicting!!!!!!!! I have went from AS ignorant up to AS dumb. With everyones knowledge and experience I am slowly progressing and the best advice is to stick around and read. I am learning but see somethings I have yet to discover the lingo......

These are just a few. If there is more fill me in so I can fit in. And on the search my dumb ass gets the same results no matter what I type. I KNOW DAMN THE NEW PEOPLE, DAMN EM! THANKS!

flaming- making fun of someone for posting something stupid. like- you're a dumb fuck for not knowing what flaming is. j/k

bump- moving the post to the top of the page to hear more replies. every time a post is replied to it moves to the top.

karma- i dont want to get into this one, it's useless.

Flaming - To flame someone is to post a shitty response to someone else's post basically telling them off and using a very negative demeanor without any constructive type of criticism or discussion. More of an immature name calling type thing.

Bump - Someone posts in a thread that they want to go back up to the top of the page for all to see. If nobody "bumps" it, then it will slowly sink to back pages where nobody will find it.

Karma - Our board administrator gave us this ability to rate members so that people could be recognized for being sources of knowledge or people of worthless ramblings.. exposed for all to know what everyone else thinks of them.

Don't worry bro, we all have to start from somewhere. bump is just to keep a good thread at the top so everyone gets a chance to read it. flaming is pretty much busting someones balls. karma is given to good post as a sign of appreciation, bad karma is given to show disagreement with the post. Don’t worry about the flames, karma and bumps, you will learn more here then anywhere else, plus it is as current as humanly possible, when I first started reading this board earlier this year, I didn’t know what “gear” meant, I thought all AS was referred to as juice,

Most of the time I simply hit the search button or read the posts and I have learned more about gear, cycles, dieting, training and lifting than I would have imagined,

also you are right the board can absorb a lot of time and be down right addictive.

It is funny to see someone else write what I was thinking when I first started. I had no idea gear was AS and what the heck a bump was???? I got the flaming one pretty quick. Karma is an illusive vibe given by those who see you ae worthy, kidding it is kinda cool. I spend so much time on this at home and work I don't get sh*t done.
