Ariel - no import tax but if I import a car the manufacturers out here will not honour the warranty and cause of the heat/humidity out here we have slighly different specs out here on cars than in most other countries. Didn't get the watch in the end, came to my senses but I am needing a new car.

Hayez - Mercs out here are probably like Fords in any other country or maybe that's a bad example. But they are one of the most common cars on the road. The reason I would not have considered it is the only one I like - the ML depreciates way too quickly

Clearance or not, you buy it cause it's a big car not to make it lower/smaller but having said that you weird Aemricanos actually have cars that jump up and down and bounce around so I just won't ever get you all in my lifetime
