The charges were filed earlier today (Jan. 25) by the Yuma County Attorney's Office in justice court in Wellton, Arizona. Weezy was charged with one count each of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of a narcotic drug for sale, misconduct involving weapons and a count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

As SOHH previously reported, Weezy was nabbed on Tuesday, Jan. 22 around 11:30 p.m. in Yuma County, Ariz. after a Border Patrol dog alerted agents to the presence of illegal drugs on his bus. A search of the vehicle turned up 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy and $22,000 belonging to the rapper.

According to TMZ, officials also found a .40-caliber pistol registered to Weezy, who has a concealed weapons permit in Florida. Authorities are looking into whether he violated any weapons laws in Arizona.

The self proclaimed greatest rapper, (born Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr.) is scheduled to appear at a preliminary hearing on February 12.

In a recent court appearance, a bail restriction was lifted that was prohibiting the rapper from leaving the state.

Two members of Weezy's entourage that were arrested with him are also facing charges. Today one was charged with possession of marijuana and the other is expected in court later Friday.

That really wasn't that much. A QP of weed, an Oz of coke, and the 40 grams of E is less than 100 pills. Remember this was on his tour bus. Believe me a group of a dozen or 2 dozen people could use that up in one night

I don't see who its hurting though? why spend tax dollars to bust this guy? If someone was driving under the influence, then hell yeah, arrest the driver, but I'd prefer that law enforcement focus on keeping me safe.
