Buddy had a Haro growing up, I always rolled with the DiamondBack.
 
being a dad must suck to an extent. i feel like if i loved a kid that much, especially before i get him all jacked up in the gym, id be tempted to kill lots of people who interact with him in negative ways, like if a teacher gives him a bad grade and made him cry id probably knock their teeth out, especially if its first grade which doesnt even matter and the teacher just did it to be a dick

i'm definately overly protective, but not really the punch the teacher in the mouth sort of way :heart:

Ya all the kids who grow up protected like that end up getting punched in the face in school. Better to let the kids figure it out themselves and be strong.



The bike is sweet, what will he be ridding it for? track racing/ramp/freestyle?

It actually has the freestyle tires but he will just be riding it for track and around the neighborhood. He is only 4 and is just learning how to ride right now.
 
I had a Haro Master. Had to guard that bitch with my life in W. Philly.

Sweet bike! I have to get my little guy one in the next few weeks. He is 3 so I want him to be safe. But to the point above I must agree.

I was at my daughters field day yesterday. For those who grew up without field day it is basically the last day of school and all the kids compete against one another in events like hurdles, softball throw, kick ball, relay races, potato sack race, etc...well that is what it was like when I was a kid. Only the kids who won received ribbons. This was bullshit. They had bubble making competitions and Frisbee toss. It was so geigh! No prizes for winning anything either. "All the kids are winners" BS It is this kind of mentality that is gonna ruin our country in the years to come. If Iran and all the other countries that hate us were smart they would just wait 20 years and all the pussies we are raising will have to go fight wars. They will win for sure!

Sorry to hijack the thread, I just read that and got extremely pissed off.

but 4 turns into 5 and 6 quickly so direction is always good. I'm not all about over pushing a kid but when people give me a hard time about "not letting the kid choose the path" I quickly respond with "Earl didn't give Tiger shit for choices and that robot seems pretty damn happy these days. I'd gladdly give up my free-for-all childhood for Tigers future."



Also think Beyonce, Williams sisters, D.E Jr. ect.... that is how you get to those levels.
