Like Nothing Before

When inner listening hurts.

I think I had taken 1 day off the gym in the past 5 weeks, so when I walked out onto the gym floor yesterday I did a quick inventory to check fatigue in my muscles. Other than my toes, everything was sore, even my fingers from doing a slight roll out on fore arms.

But I was there, and it was legs day, so....

I warmed up on squats, hit my numbers on my working sets, and I was done!

Sometimes you just know, and I knew.

So, day off today to get ready for heavy push and pull on the weekend. Wearing a tight T-Shirt today and turning heads. It's all worth it.

You mean I should take my own advices?

I changed form on my incline bench and it irritated my shoulder joints, and even after switching back they have been bothering me. So what do I do? Push through the pain! Yes, I'm serious...

Lesson re-learned. So a quick review of posts I have put out there for other people - Do exercises that don't cause discomfort in the shoulder joints. Extra strict form on everything with a good squeeze at the top. And remember, by being creative, you can make headway and gains that would not have been possible otherwise.

Wow, thanx Buddhabuilder, I'll let you know how it goes.

Gear update;

I ran out of my SARMS (S-4 and GW), so I'm dropping them out for 4 weeks, and then getting back on with some SARMS1 gear to see if it makes a difference. The uniquemicals stuff had some effect, but I'm willing to pay the extra if it is all that'a.

The most noticeable effects I'm getting right now, as I near the end of my 5th week, are a real full feeling in my muscles overall, but especially in my back and legs. I am also 6 pounds up with a little better definition. No big increase in strength right now, but I'm hitting my numbers and training all out.

On a side note, after letting my legs off a little easy last week on heavy day they seemed to think they could get away with it again. So my inner dialogue for the day consisted of, "OK, legs, this is the squat rack and we're going to be here for a while." Then hack squats, curls, extensions, Press, and calves. 1/2 hour on core and I was ready to crawl up the stairs for a shower.

I win!

Week 6 in progress and everything seems to be coming together.

I have an all over growing feeling constantly, complete with full pumps everywhere all the time. It's good I have a taste for this kind of pain, but even then....

This, and my clothes are all getting too small, and I'm talking big T-shirts and over shirts that I used to swim around in.

So I am pushing harder than ever on my training. Just this week I dropped out the lighter body cycle as I felt confident that I could continue making gains going as heavy as possible while staying in the 8-10 rep range. This was not based on not feeling any fatigue, mind you, just that kind of thing you "know" when you're completely tuned into your training. The only difference in the 2nd three day body cycle is I'm not doing the last exercise of 7 sets with 30 seconds rest; not yet anyway.

Flexing it up in the gym mirror with some of the boy/men in my gym yesterday I realized, it's all down to my cutting diet now. I have read where you can keep on making gains with Primo even on a calorie deficit, time to test that bit of information out.

I am competing with myself to bring my best, everyday.

I'm up for the challenge.

So week 6 was a constant feeling that I was growing. I was fatigued from my ankles to my fingers, and had this constant feeling of growing. Now it seems like I am right on the line of recovery, as the body parts I have scheduled are just ready on the day I plan to train them.

Is this my gear catching up with me? Or something like the gear saturating the muscle and settling in? Any thoughts are welcome.

I'm looking good!

I'd say all your gear has kicked into to full swing. Combine that with a good diet and training and it feels like you're growing daily.

When you look good, you feel good.
When you feel good, you do good.

Keep killing it Buddha

Is this it?

The fight is on now. 7 weeks in and holding strong to form over weight, while at the same time striving to kill it in real time.

Shoulder discomfort under control and I'm able to train everything with out further injury. Just staying away from side lats, flat bench, and decline dumb bell curls for right now. Focus on controlled negatives and a good squeeze at the top has me far from PR's but always rocking a good pump.

Ordering S-4 and GW from sarms1 is just out of my financial reach right now, and I am resisting going with uniquemocals for the time being. I had some MK-2866 in the cupboard and started that a couple days ago to help with the shoulders. I didn't see anything about using this particular sarm on cycle, but....hey...

Took my 5 year old son out for dinner and after using the potty he turned to the mirror and gave it a double bicept pose. I told the guys in the gym, "I don't know where he gets it.", they responded, "We do!"

No more mister nice guy....

So, as I worked through some shoulder irritation and a little pinch in my lower back I may have taken the whole "good form" thing to the extreme (extreme behavior from a body builder? Say it isn't so!). But anyway, it's been weeks of 1/3 counts with a good squeeze at full contraction, which left me with great pumps, but not impressive numbers. Done there, been that...

Today I moved back towards heavy with some deviation in form in the latter sets/reps, and right away saw the weights take off. Full stacking cable pull down right out of the gate, and feeling mean and lean in the process. Still being mindful of the shoulders but appear to be healing well, and will keep that mindfulness into fighting for max weight.

Just getting started...
